Megan began her career in the beauty industry upon moving to Austin in 2006. She started her career specializing in hair and makeup for print work in magazines like Austin Monthly and Playboy Online. When she wasn’t on set she was working a Wedding. Her and her team did countless weddings and received honors such as “Brides Pick” in 2011 from the The Knot and WeddingWire.com. She attend Avenue Five Institute where she learn techniques from the exclusive Vidal Sassoon cutting and Kevin Murphy session styling programs. From there she spent her time perfecting her cut and color skills with Salon by Milk+Honey. “I love connecting with my clients. For me, the highlight of my career is when I can give the gift of beauty to client. Getting your hair done should be covered by insurance because its basically therapy! People have always been the most important part of my life. To have a career where i get to spend one on one time with someone and we chat and give them a whole new look and lease on life is amazing. I couldn’t ask for more.” She has continued to expand her love for this career path by recently becoming an educator with Wella Professional Color.
